Context: CPV Three Rivers was CPV’s largest project to date at financial close and was described as the only conventional greenfield power project to achieve financing in 2020. Physical build: Kiewit engineered, procured, and constructed a 1,250 MW natural-gas combined-cycle plant configured as a 2x1x1 facility. The installed scope includes two GE Vernova 7HA.02 gas combustion turbines, two heat-recovery steam generators, two steam turbines, two air-cooled condensers, and fin-fan coolers. GE Vernova states that the two generating blocks each include one 7HA.02 gas turbine, one STF-A650 steam turbine, and one W84 generator.
