Devil Canyon
Devil Canyon is a four-unit conventional hydroelectric powerplant in San Bernardino County, California, owned and operated by the California Department of Water Resources. Located at the southern end of the East Branch of the State Water Project, the plant receives water from Silverwood Lake through the San Bernardino Tunnel and two penstocks, then discharges into two afterbays for downstream State Water Project deliveries. The facility has approximately 276.2 MW of nameplate capacity and the highest hydraulic water pressure in the State Water Project system.
