East Blackland Solar Project, also called the Pflugerville Solar Farm, is a 144 MWac solar photovoltaic plant in Travis County, Texas, near the city of Pflugerville. Duke Energy Renewables acquired the project from Recurrent Energy, a Canadian Solar subsidiary, while it was still under construction, and it reached commercial operation in July 2021. The plant sells its output to Austin Energy under a 15-year power purchase agreement. It settles in ERCOT at the East Blackland Solar Project 1 node located essentially on-site. A single 144 MW generating unit makes up the entire facility, and EIA-860 shows no retirement scheduled.
