Junction (TX) is a 9.9 MW battery energy-storage facility in Kimble County, Texas, owned and operated by HEN Infrastructure, L.L.C. and listed within Hunt Energy Network's ERCOT BESS portfolio. The facility comprises nine Sungrow ST2752UX-US battery units (2,752 kWh each), three SC4000U power conversion systems, three 4000 kVA transformers, and one ABB GridShield recloser. It is interconnected to the Pedernales Electric Cooperative distribution system within ERCOT and became commercially operational in October 2023. The facility operates with a one-hour discharge duration and stores 9.9 MWh of energy.
