Lakefield Wind Project LLC is a 205.5 MW onshore wind turbine plant in Jackson County. Lakefield is a 205.5 MW wind project in Jackson County, southwestern Minnesota, developed by enXco, now EDF power solutions. It consists of 137 General Electric 1.5 MW turbines and became fully operational in October 2011, delivering power into the MISO system. A 20-year power purchase agreement for 200 MW supplies the Indianapolis Power & Light generation portfolio, now AES Indiana. Financing combined club bank debt with a leveraged lease involving Union Bank and MetLife.
