MinnDakota Wind LLC is a 150 MW onshore wind turbine plant in Lincoln County. MinnDakota is a 150 MW wind project on the Minnesota-South Dakota border, with two-thirds in Lincoln County, Minnesota and the rest in Brookings County, South Dakota. Avangrid owns it and it uses 100 GE 1.5 MW turbines across about 15,000 acres. Xcel Energy has been its offtaker since operation began, and Avangrid extended that power purchase agreement in February 2026, describing the project as continuing to generate electricity today. It supports nine full-time operations jobs.
