Mountainview Generating Station

Mountainview Generating Station is a natural gas-fired power facility with 1,036.8 MW of EIA-reported nameplate capacity in San Bernardino County, California, registered as EIA Plant ID 358. PowerMag described Mountainview as California’s first utility-developed power plant in 15 years. The plant has also operated as a flexible Inland Empire resource, dispatched as a roughly 600-MW mid-peaker during morning periods and at higher output later in the day.
