Piney Creek Solar is an 80 MW solar facility near Clover in Halifax County, Virginia, described by Dominion Energy as a Dominion solar farm. It went operational in August 2023 and spans over 770 acres off Route 607. In July 2024 the farm was reported up and running, with 188,000 panels that Dominion says produce enough energy to power 20,000 homes. The project began as a 2018 notice of intent filed with Virginia's Department of Environmental Quality.
