Generator CTWS became commercially operational in December 2019 and provides power to Dominion Energy Virginia customers. The ground-mounted array spans approximately 1,800 acres and consists of 539,379 photovoltaic modules. The facility interconnects via a 230 kV transmission line (Hopewell–Surry 230 kV) completed in December 2019. Strata Clean Energy provided engineering, procurement, and construction services. No energy storage or battery systems are present.
