Roseton Generating Facility is a dual-fuel natural-gas- and fuel-oil-fired steam power plant located at 992 River Road in the Town of Newburgh, Orange County, New York, on the west shore of the Hudson River. Both units are capable of firing No. 6 fuel oil and natural gas as primary fuels, with natural gas or No. 2 fuel oil as ignition fuels. The facility operates two GE 3,600-RPM steam turbine generators, supplies power into NYISO Zone G, and includes an auxiliary natural-gas-fired boiler and emergency diesel generators. The plant interconnects at 345 kV to the Central Hudson Gas & Electric transmission system. Roseton Generating LLC is the current owner and operator as of 2026.
