Tidwell Prairie Storage 1 is a 200 MW battery energy storage system in Robertson County, Texas, interconnected to the ERCOT grid. The single-unit lithium-ion facility began commercial operation in October 2025 under the project entity Tidwell Prairie LLC, part of Jupiter Power's fleet of utility-scale storage assets. Rather than selling into the ERCOT day-ahead or real-time market on a merchant basis, the plant's output is contracted under a long-term tolling agreement with an undisclosed counterparty. It sits near the Twin Oaks/TNP One 345kV interconnection in North Texas and settles at its own ERCOT resource node. No retirement is scheduled; the plant is a newly commissioned addition to the ERCOT battery storage fleet.
