Overview

Select the latest known source_time per target hour and do not sum forecast vintages.

Query contract

For a future target, select the latest source_time known at the requested cutoff. For a realized target, select the last source_time strictly before event_time; a later revision is hindsight and must not be scored or charted as a forecast.

Analysis rules

  • Do not sum forecast vintages or copy a system forecast into individual load zones.
  • load_mw and net_load_mw are alternative published forecasts, not additive measures.
