5.7M rows, 2026-08-12 to now. Carries price_usd_mwh plus congestion_usd_mwh and loss_usd_mwh as MISO publishes them; energy_usd_mwh is the residual, so the components sum to the price by construction. Locations are generator (1,859), zone (493), interface (22) and hub (8); location_id joins atg.miso_locations for the readable name, and kind is carried inline so a hub-only or zone-only question needs no join at all. Every market's real-time price table in this catalog has these same column names, so a cross-market price comparison is a UNION rather than a per-ISO rewrite. Revisions are already collapsed — read it plainly.

One row is already the canonical price for (event_time, location_id, kind) — the refresh collapsed the source's revisions. Select the interval and the locations you need; do not de-duplicate again.

Analysis rules

Prices are intensive. Averaging across intervals gives a simple (unweighted) average price, which is not a settlement or load-weighted price; say which one you computed. Never sum prices across intervals or locations.
Do not add price_usd_mwh to its own components — they decompose it, they do not extend it.

Interpretation

History begins 2026-08-12. An hourly real-time figure from this table is the average of its twelve five-minute rows; MISO also publishes an hourly integrated real-time price (miso_live_lmp, market_run HourlyIntegratedLMP) that differs slightly. Use this table unless the integrated price is asked for, and name which one a figure is.
MISO's market clock is EST all year. Local hour labels here follow America/Chicago, which equals EST only during daylight time; between November and March MISO's own hour-ending numbers are one higher than the Central label.
