Overview

It carries five-minute real-time, hourly integrated real-time, day-ahead ex-ante, and day-ahead ex-post runs plus published loss and congestion components; marginal energy is derived as LMP less those two components. event_time/ref_id identify when the snapshot was requested; raw_interval is the market-run delivery label, so a day-ahead snapshot is a current-hour comparison rather than a forward delivery curve.

Select one latest ref_id/ingested_at snapshot, filter market_run, and preserve one row per exact pricing_node.

Analysis rules

FiveMinLMP and HourlyIntegratedLMP are real-time runs; DayAheadExAnteLMP and DayAheadExPostLMP are day-ahead runs. Never mix them in one price average.
event_time/ref_id identify the watcher snapshot. raw_interval carries the source delivery label; the day-ahead rows are the latest published comparison, not a full historical delivery-hour curve.

Day-Ahead Ex-Post LMPMISO · hourly (day-ahead, published next day)	MISO's day-ahead ex-post locational marginal prices for the full nodal set of roughly 2,600 generator nodes, load zones, hubs, and interfaces, one row per node per operating hour. Each row carries total LMP with its congestion (mcc) and marginal-loss (mlc) components in dollars per MWh; the energy component is lmp less mcc and mlc. event_time is hour-beginning UTC. These are the day-ahead prices a node settles at, published the morning after the operating day and restated when MISO re-runs settlement, so read the latest load per node and hour. A congestion component does not by itself identify which constraint bound. Unlike miso.live_lmp, a consolidated snapshot of 325 locations, this covers every node and is addressable by market date.

The component columns exist in the raw CAISO day-ahead feed but are entirely NULL in it, so this table carries no decomposition rather than four empty columns. Locations are node (26k — including the TH_ trading hubs such as TH_SP15_GEN-APND; CAISO has no 'hub' kind), interface (the ties), zone (6 aggregates only); location_id joins atg.caiso_locations for the readable name, and kind is carried inline so a hub-only or zone-only question needs no join at all. Every market's day-ahead price table in this catalog has these same column names, so a cross-market price comparison is a UNION rather than a per-ISO rewrite. Revisions are already collapsed — read it plainly.
