Big Level Wind is a 90 MW onshore wind turbine plant in Potter County. Big Level is a 90 MW wind project in Hector Township, near Westfield, Pennsylvania, on about 6,900 acres of privately owned land. TransAlta acquired the project in February 2018 and it reached commercial operation on December 19, 2019. Its output is sold to Microsoft under a 15-year power purchase arrangement signed in 2018, the third Microsoft has signed in the PJM Interconnection, and the project holds renewable certifications in New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
