California Valley Solar Ranch

California Valley Solar Ranch is a 250 MW utility-scale photovoltaic facility located on 4,700 acres in eastern San Luis Obispo County, California. The project uses SunPower single-axis tracker technology deployed across nine solar photovoltaic arrays and generates approximately 650,000 MWh annually, sufficient to power approximately 100,000 homes. The project is represented in CAISO as two phases: Phase A (210 MW) and Phase B (40 MW). The facility is operated by Clearway Energy Operating LLC and indirectly owned by Clearway Energy Group LLC.
