Freeport Energy is an industrial natural-gas combined-cycle plant at Olin's Freeport site in Brazoria County, Texas. EIA's May 2026 inventory lists six generators totaling 603.1 MW nameplate, but two are out of service; the four operating generators provide 327.4 MW net summer and 357.8 MW net winter capability. The full six-generator inventory is rated at 458 MW net summer and 499.3 MW net winter. This EIA Plant ID 52120 facility is not Fengate's separate nearby 260 MW Freeport Energy Center.
