Glacier Sands Wind Power

Glacier Sands Wind Power, LLC is a 185 MW onshore wind turbine plant in Mason County. Glacier Sands is a 185 MW wind facility in Mason County, Illinois, made up of 43 Vestas V150-4.3 turbines. It began commercial operations in November 2021. Cordelio Power completed construction financing in July 2021 with Rabobank coordinating and a Berkshire Hathaway Energy tax equity commitment, and the project sells all of its renewable energy to Microsoft under a 15-year agreement.
