Hawtree Solar is a 65 MW solar photovoltaic plant in Warren County. Hawtree is a 65 MWac solar project in Warren County, North Carolina, interconnected to PJM. It was developed by Carolina Solar Energy and is owned by ENGIE North America, whose affiliate operates it under a balance of plant operation and maintenance agreement. The project declared commercial operations shortly before ENGIE completed tax-equity and equity financing in March 2022, with Bank of America, Wells Fargo and InfraRed Capital Partners as investors. Its output is sold under long-term power purchase agreements.
