Hillcrest Solar is a 200 MW utility-scale solar photovoltaic facility located in Brown County, Ohio. The facility consists of 606,480 First Solar Series 6 thin-film photovoltaic panels installed on single-axis trackers across approximately 1,500 to 2,100 acres. The facility is connected to Duke Energy's 138 kV transmission grid through PJM interconnection service agreements. All generated electric output and environmental attributes are sold under a long-term corporate power purchase agreement. The project is expected to produce a gross estimated long-term average of 413.3 GWh of energy per year.
