Holtsville
Holtsville is an operating, regulated petroleum-liquids generating facility at 180A Morris Avenue, Holtsville, Suffolk County, New York, comprising ten combustion-turbine generators, each rated at 56.7 MW of nameplate capacity, for an aggregate nameplate capacity of approximately 567 MW. The facility burns kerosene/distillate oil and connects to NYISO through LMP node designations 23690 through 23699, interconnecting at 138 kV via the West Bus/Holbrook local transmission-owner substation. It is owned and operated by National Grid Generation LLC and serves as a peaking resource on Long Island. The facility remains listed as operating in NYISO's existing-generating-facilities tables and is subject to New York State environmental permitting and RGGI compliance requirements.
