Marcus Hook Energy LP is a 836.1 MW natural gas fired combined cycle plant in Delaware County. NextEra Energy Resources sold it to Starwood Energy in 2016 for about $765 million, and in 2018 Starwood agreed to sell 50% of the Compass Power Generation portfolio to JERA. Its power and capacity are sold mainly into PJM, with a capacity contract with the Long Island Power Authority.
