NY6 Battery
20 MW battery south of Buffalo with three energy-rating bases
KCE NY 6 is a Key Capture Energy battery south of Buffalo, connected to National Grid. KCE describes the installed system as 20 MW/45.6 MWh; EIA's June 2026 inventory reports 20 MW/42 MWh, while its NYISO agreement gives 40 MWh of end-of-life usable energy. Sungrow supplied the integrated battery equipment and five SC5000UD-MV power-conversion units, and Black & McDonald provided engineering and construction services.
