Wythe County Solar is a 75 MW solar project in Wythe County, Virginia, built by RWE. It was under construction when RWE announced eight long-term power purchase agreements with Dominion Energy Virginia in July 2023, and RWE reported it operational in May 2025. The project employed more than 300 workers at peak construction and is expected to add around $7 million in property tax revenue over its lifetime.
