This is the live interchange and transfer-limit context behind import/export stress and congestion.

Query contract

Use FINAL or argMax over ingested_at before comparing flow with the positive and negative published limits.

Analysis rules

  • Group only after preserving the declared grain: event_time, point_id.

Interpretation

  • The report mixes external schedules (interface_name beginning 'SCH - ') with internal transfer interfaces. Do not label every row as external interchange.
  • A limit magnitude of 9999 is NYISO's no-limit sentinel, not a physical 9,999 MW rating.
