- On June 7, 2021, QTS Realty Trust and Blackstone announced that Blackstone Infrastructure Partners, Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust and other Blackstone vehicles would acquire all QTS common stock for $78.00 per share in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $10 billion including assumed debt. QTS stockholders approved the deal on August 26, 2021, with closing expected August 31, 2021, after which QTS stock would no longer be listed on any public market. The announcement said QTS would keep its senior management team.
