The plant's generating configuration is seven GE LM6000 PC simple-cycle combustion turbines fired only on diesel fuel and CT1–CT3 installed in 2000 and CT4–CT7 installed in 2001. Tyr Energy, Inc. acquired the project from Tenaska Capital Management in 2008.
