AEP Generating Company completed acquisition of the partially constructed natural-gas-fired Dresden plant from Dresden Energy LLC (a Dominion Resources, Inc. subsidiary) on September 19, 2007, for approximately $85 million. AEGCo separately disclosed assumption of approximately $2 million in liabilities. This was an asset acquisition of plant under construction; no power purchase agreement or capacity contract was disclosed.
