Indeck Silver Springs Energy Center

Operating natural-gas combined-cycle cogeneration plant in Silver Springs, Wyoming County, New York. The facility produces electricity and steam; process steam is supplied to Morton Salt at 200 psig, and electricity is sold to the local utility. EIA generator records identify 39.4 MW for the combustion-turbine portion and 17.2 MW for the steam-turbine portion, totaling approximately 56.6 MW. The plant is interconnected at the South Perry substation with the NYSEG transmission system at 115 kV. It operates as a FERC-regulated cogeneration facility and exempt wholesale generator serving the NYISO market.
