Indeck-Yerkes contracted with its affiliate Indeck Gas Supply Corporation for Canadian natural gas. The arrangement contemplated up to 4.5 Bcf per year for 15 years beginning November 1, 1990, with delivery through National Fuel and related pipeline facilities.
The Department of Energy conditionally authorized Indeck-Yerkes to import Canadian natural gas for the facility.
