A natural-gas-fired 1×1 combined-cycle cogeneration facility in Oswego, New York, owned and operated by Indeck-Oswego Limited Partnership. The facility comprises a GE Frame 6 combustion turbine, a dual-pressure heat-recovery steam generator with Coen duct burner, and a GE extraction/condensing steam turbine. Placed in service in 1990, the plant generates electricity for sale to National Grid and steam for an adjacent industrial facility. The facility is an Exempt Wholesale Generator under FERC regulations, interconnected to National Grid at 115 kV in NYISO Zone C (PTID 23783), and operates on natural gas with Number 2 distillate oil as backup fuel.
