Lone Tree Wind, LLC is a 79 MW onshore wind turbine plant in Bureau County. Lone Tree Wind Farm in Bureau County, Illinois, is an 80 MW development owned and operated by Leeward Renewable Energy and built adjacent to Leeward's Crescent Ridge wind farm. It uses 29 GE 2.8-127 and 3 GE 2.3-116 wind turbine generators, with a 2.5 mile 138 kV generation tie line and a 138 kV substation. Boldt served as general contractor, and Leeward announced a virtual power purchase agreement with Target Corporation in 2019 to enable construction.
