Public Service Company of Oklahoma - Rogers County - SPP
Northeastern, also known as Northeastern Station, is a six-generator power station in Oologah, Rogers County, Oklahoma, owned and operated by Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO), an American Electric Power subsidiary. The EIA-reported generator fleet comprises natural-gas combined-cycle, natural-gas steam-turbine, conventional steam-coal, petroleum-liquids internal-combustion, and two additional natural-gas combined-cycle combustion-turbine units associated with the Unit 1 repowering. A distinguishing feature is that the 2001 repowering added two GE 7F combustion turbines and heat-recovery steam generators to the existing Unit 1 steam turbine, increasing Unit 1 from approximately 160 MW to 475 MW.
