Green Country Power Station
Public Service Company of Oklahoma - Tulsa County - SPP
Green Country Power Station is a natural-gas-fired combined-cycle facility in Jenks, Tulsa County, Oklahoma, consisting of three 1×1 generating units powered by GE 7FA combustion turbines. The facility's contractual capacity is 795 MW; its six EIA-nameplate generator records total 903.9 MW. PSO acquired 100% of the facility in June 2025 and assumed full ownership and operational control. A capacity-recovery program in 2017 restored output through controls, duct-burner, and turbine-component upgrades, achieving 801 MW in testing. PSO sells a portion of Green Country's capacity to SWEPCo through May 2027 under a continuing agreement.
