Walnut Wind Farm is a wind project in Pottawattamie County, Iowa, owned by MidAmerican Energy Company. enXco began construction in June 2008, the project was expanded from 100.5 MW to 153 MW, and its 102 turbines were commissioned in February 2009. GE 1.5 MW turbines were specified, enXco Service Corporation provides operations and maintenance, and MidAmerican now lists the project at 165.24 MW as part of its Iowa renewable portfolio.
