White Bluff is a two-unit conventional steam coal power plant located at 1100 White Bluff Road in Redfield, Jefferson County, Arkansas, near the Arkansas River. EIA plant 6009 consists of two 900 MW nameplate-capacity generators. Unit 1 began operation in August 1980 and Unit 2 in August 1981, making White Bluff Arkansas's first coal-fired electric generating station. The plant is scheduled to cease coal combustion permanently by December 31, 2028.

Entergy announced the separate 754 MW Jefferson Power Station for the White Bluff site, scheduled for 2029 operations. Entergy also stated it was studying whether the existing White Bluff coal units could be extended by burning natural gas instead of coal to provide peaking generation service.
