Introduced with EDAM and DAME, these capacity products are distinct from energy LMPs.

Query contract

Preserve one canonical row per (event_time, market_run, node, product) before aggregating.

Analysis rules

Filter market_run and product before aggregation. Keep IR_UP, IR_DN, RC_UP and RC_DN separate.
Deduplicate each location, delivery hour and product by capture time; do not sum prices.

Interpretation

Cleared prices are dollars per MW-hour of capacity, distinct from energy dollars per MWh. This table contains prices, not awarded quantities or procurement requirements.
Historical capture time is not the market's original publication time.

Products: reg_up, reg_down, spin, non_spin, reg_mileage_up, reg_mileage_down. 12 CAISO ancillary-service regions (AS_CAISO, AS_NP26, AS_SP26 and their expanded variants). The expanded regions overlap the base ones by design — never sum across regions. price_usd_mw is a price for CAPACITY held in reserve — dollars per megawatt of commitment — not dollars per megawatt-hour of energy delivered. The two are different units and are not comparable to an LMP.
