Overview

A marginal fuel observation identifies the price-setting technology category, not all generation running in the interval.

Query contract

Preserve one canonical row per (event_time, region, fuel_type) before aggregating.

Analysis rules

  • Group only after preserving the declared grain: event_time, region, fuel_type.
