The Blooming Grove Wind Energy Center is a 250 MW onshore wind facility with 94 GE turbines located in Livingston County, Illinois. It commenced commercial operations in December 2020. WEC Energy Group owns a 90% interest acquired in December 2020; Invenergy retains a minority ownership stake and developed the project. Invenergy Services provides long-term operations and maintenance, balance-of-plant, energy-management, and asset-management services. The facility generates approximately 69,000 homes' worth of electricity annually and sells output through virtual power purchase agreements with Verizon (130 MW) and Saint-Gobain North America (120 MW).
