FirstEnergy Bay Shore is a 187 MW petroleum-fueled combined-heat-and-power facility located in Oregon, Lucas County, Ohio, on Maumee Bay/Lake Erie. The plant comprises two generators: a 171 MW petroleum-coke steam turbine with circulating fluidized-bed boiler technology and combined heat-and-power capability, and a 16 MW petroleum-liquids combustion turbine. Electricity is sold on a merchant basis into PJM. Walleye Power, LLC is the owner and operator.
