Green River Wind Farm (EIA plant 60471) is a 194.3 MW onshore wind facility located at 2723 County Line Road, Deer Grove, Illinois, in Lee County. The project comprises 74 Siemens Gamesa G126 wind turbines rated at 2.625 MW each. It is directly owned by Green River Wind Farm Phase 1, LLC and currently operated by Geronimo Power (formerly National Grid Renewables). Construction occurred between May 2018 and October 2019 and was completed by Mortenson as the EPC contractor. The project was originally developed by Mainstream Renewable Power and acquired by Geronimo Energy in January 2014 at the development stage.
