Grand Ridge Wind Energy Center
Grand Ridge Wind Energy Center is an operating 210 MW onshore wind facility located in LaSalle County, Illinois, approximately 80 miles southwest of Chicago near Marseilles. The facility comprises four wind generator units with nameplate capacities of 99 MW, 51 MW, 49.5 MW, and 10.5 MW, respectively, operating by December 2009. It is powered by 140 GE 1.5 SLE wind turbines distributed across the four generators. The plant is the wind component of Invenergy's broader Grand Ridge Energy Center, which also contains separate solar and battery-storage assets added between 2014 and 2016. Invenergy Services LLC operates the facility, while ownership is held through four separate Grand Ridge Energy entities corresponding to each generator unit.
