Hell Gate is a 94 MW natural-gas-fired power station located at 910 East 134th Street, Bronx, New York, owned and operated by the New York Power Authority. emergency generation program. As of March 2026, NYISO's C24 cluster records identify a proposed 90 MW energy-storage repowering project (C24-331) that would retire both existing Hell Gate gas turbines and redevelop the site with battery storage by December 2028.
