Sayreville
Sayreville Generating Station, EIA plant 2390, is a 212 MW operating natural-gas-fired combustion-turbine power plant located in Sayreville, Middlesex County, New Jersey. It comprises four non-CHP units—GT1, GT2, GT3, and GT4—each rated at 53 MW of nameplate capacity. Fuel oil is also listed as a secondary fuel. All four units are currently listed as operating in the EIA June 2026 generator inventory, with no planned retirement dates. The facility is located on 86.197 acres at River Road along the Raritan River and interconnects to PJM at the Raritan River 230-kV substation. It is owned by Sayreville Power LLC, operated by Sayreville Power LLC, and ultimately controlled by Midwood Holdings LLC (88.5%) and Strategic Value Partners LLC (11.5%). Following GenOn's 2017 bankruptcy, Sayreville Power LLC became part of the Heritage Power corporate group.
