Sayreville Generating Station is a four-unit station of dual-fuel gas and oil combustion turbines in Sayreville, New Jersey, owned by Sayreville Power LLC and managed by Heritage Power, LLC. In December 2023 Heritage told PJM the units would deactivate on June 1, 2024 because they could not meet New Jersey's 1,700 lbs CO2/MWh limit. After reaching an NJDEP administrative consent order, Heritage notified PJM in July 2025 of its intent to reactivate all four units, with a target return to service of August 31, 2025.
