Falcon–CFE AC tie

A 0.3034-mile 138 kV AC line between ERCOT's Falcon substation and CFE's Falcon substation at the Rio Grande. ERCOT's network manual describes it as normally open and used for emergency block-load transfers; DOE continues to list the Falcon Dam facility among available U.S.–Mexico border connections. The marker uses EIA's nearby U.S. Falcon power plant location, not a surveyed line crossing. No continuous live transfer reading is matched to this normally open tie.
