The 138 kV AC connection from the Military Highway substation in Brownsville to CFE's Matamoros network. DOE's PP-425 identifies it separately from the parallel 69 kV Brownsville Switching line; AEP and Brownsville Public Utilities jointly own the U.S. facilities. ERCOT's network manual describes this AC tie as normally open for emergency block-load transfers. The marker is at the mapped U.S. substation, not the river crossing, and no continuous live flow is assigned.
