Preserve one canonical row per (event_time, baa_grp_id, message_time) before aggregating.

Analysis rules

Select the latest message_time per baa_grp_id and event_time within the knowledge-time cutoff. Keep wind and solar from the same vintage.
Do not sum publication vintages or treat the EDAM footprint as CAISO generation.

Interpretation

MW is forecast generation for a delivery interval, not MWh or observed generation. Missing areas and NULL values are unknown, not zero.
