What people ask
Is requested MW the same as operating capacity?
No. Queue capacity is the amount requested for interconnection. It is not installed, operating, accredited, approved, or likely-to-complete capacity, and it does not establish available transmission headroom.
Does this include BPA's load and line requests too?
No. BPA runs generation and line-and-load requests as two separate queues. This view shows the generation queue only, so requested load service and new line requests never add to the generation capacity shown here.
Why do some projects show no requestor or project name?
BPA withholds the requestor and project name for many requests until late in its process, so most study-stage and withdrawn rows carry neither field. This is a BPA publication choice, not a gap in Ask the Grid's ingestion.
