What people ask
Is requested MW the same as operating capacity?
No. Queue capacity is the amount requested for interconnection. It is not installed, operating, accredited, approved, or likely-to-complete capacity, and it does not establish available transmission headroom.
Does a proposed completion date guarantee delivery?
No. A proposed completion date is an ERCOT queue field, not a delivery guarantee. “Completed” is ERCOT's feed status and is not, by itself, proof of commercial operation. Compare official snapshots before describing a project's current state or change.
How precise is the project location shown?
The public feed does not publish exact project geometry, so Ask the Grid joins projects to Texas counties and places map interactions at county centroids. A named point of interconnection is useful location evidence, not a thermal-loading or feasibility measurement.
