AEP-Dayton Hub is the average price of buses in the AEP and Dayton zones, across Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia and Kentucky in the west of PJM.
Coal and gas generation in the Ohio Valley, and transfers east toward the Mid-Atlantic. When those transfers are limited, AEP-Dayton prices below Western Hub.
Each average is the mean of PJM's hourly real-time LMPs at the hub in the period, by Eastern prevailing time. PJM publishes them about a day after the hour, so the latest full day is yesterday's.
